In the past Animal prints have been seen as a major design Faux Pas. The first example I ever saw of it was shows like “The Nanny” and Movies like “Married to the Mob”. Like a lot of things those stereotypical ideas of animal print have held it back from being used extensively in design. Now we are seeing a resurgence of its use in tasteful, bold, and sometime wacky applications. As a fun accent on a sofa; to modifying the color of a zebra stripe; the use of patterns are no longer reserved for stripes, florals, and plaids. Fun and Bold, animal prints used properly can give a fun punch to a sensibly designed room.
